Rockport Marine Park

The Place

Rockport Marine Park is located in Rockport, Maine. This location is home to several 19th Century lime kilns which are part of the Rockport Historic Kiln Area. The area is on the National Register of Historic Places. Lime from Rockport was shipped to Washington, D.C. and used for construction of the U.S. Capitol.
